Educational Qualification
Generalist
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline
- Minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)
Hindi (Rajbhasha) Officer
- Master’s in Hindi with English as a subject at graduation level OR
- Master’s in English with Hindi as a subject at graduation level
- Minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)
Age Limit
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- Age relaxation: SC/ST → 5 years | OBC-NCL → 3 years | PwBD → 10 years (as per rules)
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Pay: ₹50,925/- in the scale ₹50,925 – ₹96,765
- Gross Emoluments: ~₹85,000 per month (in metropolitan centres)

- Objective Test – 200 marks
- Descriptive Test (English) – 30 marks (For Hindi Officers: Additional Professional Knowledge paper)
