The job is Executive Trainee (ET) in Engineering through GATE-2025 exam.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility – as on 23 Dec 2025)
- You must give GATE-2025 exam in the correct paper:
- Mechanical → ME paper
- Electrical → EE paper
- Civil → CE paper
- C&I → IN (Instrumentation) paper
(Old GATE marks of 2024 or before will not work)
- Education:
- Full-time B.E./B.Tech in the same branch from a recognized college
- Minimum marks:
- OBC (NCL) → 65%
- SC/ST/PwBD → 60%
- Age Limit:
- Maximum age: 29 years (for General category)
- Relaxation:
- OBC (NCL) → +3 years
- SC/ST → +5 years
- PwBD → +10 years (plus category relaxation)
- DVC employees → No age limit
Salary and Benefits
- Starting basic pay: ₹56,100 per month
- Total monthly salary (CTC) is much higher because of allowances (house rent, medical, travel, etc.)
- After selection, you have to sign a bond:
- OBC → ₹5 lakh bond
- SC/ST/PwBD → ₹2.5 lakh bond
- You must work in DVC for at least 4 years (1 year training + 3 years service)
How Will They Select You?
Very simple:
- Your GATE-2025 marks (out of 100) decide everything.
- Top candidates will be called for document checking (about 5 times the number of posts).
- After documents are okay → Medical test.
- Final list → You get the job.
How to Apply (Step-by-Step)
- First register and appear for GATE-2025 (February 2025).
- Go to DVC official website → Career → Recruitment.
- Find advertisement no. PLR/ET/03/2025/16 and click “Apply Online”.
- Fill the form, enter your GATE-2025 registration number.
- Upload photo, signature, GATE admit card, etc.
- Pay fee (if you have to).
- Submit and take a printout of the form.
